- Most of Hawaii County's approximately 300 HIV patients live in rural areas—a stark contrast to the rest of the U.S., where patients typically reside in urban centers with easier access to resources.
- To address this, we fund initiatives like free produce boxes to support these patients, ensuring they receive fresh, nutritious food in areas where access can be challenging.
